Kim Masland, the Progressive Conservative MLA for Queens-Shelburne is endorsing Tim Houston for the Leadership of the Progressive Conservative Party of Nova Scotia.
“Tim is honest, upfront, solution-oriented, and makes people a priority – he puts people above politics,” said Masland. “He represents what I value in politics. He listens, fights for what is right, shows up and follows through.”
“Tim exemplifies what it means to be a great leader and he brings energy, commitment and hope to this province.”
Masland, who serves as Deputy Whip and Environment Critic for the PC Caucus, announced her support for Houston during her remarks at the Annual General Meeting for the Queens-Shelburne PC Association.
“I have endless admiration for Kim and the energy and dedication she has shown for her community and the PC Party,” said Houston. “She has done a remarkable job representing her constituents in the Legislature, and also in her role as Environment critic. Her advice and counsel throughout the campaign will be an incredible asset.”
Masland joins a growing list of PC Caucus MLAs supporting Houston’s bid for the leadership. Other MLAs who have given Houston their endorsement include Tim Halman, Brad Johns, Barb Adams and Pat Dunn.
